Why I started my own print studio

I am a photographer. My colour prints has to be perfect as well as the tonal quality of my black and white prints. In the past, the trip to the printer to  collect my prints became an anxiety filled experience. Invariably there was something wrong with the final product. After requesting one or two or sometimes more re-prints you start feeling like the villain and tend to accept and pay for reproductions you are not 100% happy with. In 2006 I decided to make the investment and learn and pay the school money to do my own printing. It was a tedious process with many pitfalls and a steep learning curve but with great rewards. Soon photographers and fine artists realised that we render a discerning service with a photographers eye and the testimonials speak for themselves  .....
