• The venue for the workshop is the historical farm of Kersefontein in the Sandveld region of South Africa’s Cape West Coast. Kersefontein is situated between the towns of Hopefield and Velddrif. The wheat and livestock farm with its fine old Cape Dutch homestead has been in the Melck family for eight generations. Now owned by Julian Melck, Kersefontein’s way of life and ambience is reminiscent of its rich history.
• As a photography location, Kersefontein offers that elusive patina of a world-gone- by sought after by photographers and film producers.
